Mission Statement
The mission of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church is to be a faith community of One Blood under the Blood of Jesus the Christ; seeking and saving the lost by the power of the Holy Spirit and worshiping God in totality; for in Him we live, move, and have our being. Acts 17:24-28

Vision Of Life
1.To live empowered by the direction of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 4:3131 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

2. To do ministry in the local community which is inclusive of the university population.

Matthew 28:19 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

3. To nurture an abiding relationship with Jesus Christ and each other.

John 15:4 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

4. To experience God in worship, prayer, teaching, learning, service, and stewardship
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
